Backend Blockchain Engineer

Job Overview

We’re looking for a skilled Blockchain Backend Developer(Node.js) to design, build, and maintain scalable blockchain backend systems. You will integrate smart contracts, manage node interactions, and ensure high-performance Web3 infrastructure using modern JavaScript/TypeScript technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend services using Node.js(TypeScript preferred) for blockchain nodes and decentralized applications(dApps).
• Integrate and interact with smart contracts using Web3 libraries (e.g., ethers.js, web3.js).
• Build APIs and microservices to support blockchain-based applications.
• Maintain and optimize node performance for Ethereum, Polygon, and other EVM-compatible chains.
• Implement secure wallet integrations and transaction management systems.
• Ensure security, scalability, and reliability of backend services.
• Collaborate with frontend, product, and DevOps teams to deploy and maintain blockchain applications.

Requirements

• 3+ years of backend development experience with Node.js.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience integrating with blockchain nodes and Web3 infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with Ethereum ecosystem and EVM-compatible chains.
• Familiarity with smart contracts (Solidity understanding is a plus).
• Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, or microservices architecture.
• Understanding of distributed systems and basic cryptography principles.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and high-performance code.
